Positive Thought: Sticking with something to the end

2011/03/02 § 1 Comment

I have FINISHED my Portland Ballet socks (aptly named because I bought the yarn in Portland, and the pattern is “Ballet” out of Melissa Morgan-Oakes’ amazing book) with trumpets sounding.  I started these, knit ONLY these, and have finished them. And they are beautiful.  My positive mental attitude is that even when something has 1023984 tiny little cables (read: really really persnickity), sticking with it is so worth it.

My amazing Portland Ballet Socks!

I.  Love.  Knitting.

I’m working on that sweater Nate took a pic of- and I think it is literally going to take me the rest of my life. I applaud your mad skills.
